All busy professionals, our honorees contribute to just
about every facet of the community. They design and build
our buildings, represent us in the courts and government,
promote our messages in the media, provide
medical services, broker our insurance, invest our money,
and even supply our copiers, printers and fax machines.
They lead the companies that lead Kansas City.
After hours, our honorees are active in the community. Although many are founders, presidents and board members of Kansas City’s most prominent community service organizations, the same individuals are involved in the kind of service that often goes unheralded: serving on the P.T.A., teaching a class at their church, coaching a little league team or leading a scouting troop.
The good works of these individuals has earned the admiration and gratitude of their colleagues, associates and friends. Without them, none of their companies would be as productive and a few would not exist at all. More than ever, our 40 Under Forty honorees are diverse in background, training and profession, but if they share one trait, it’s a spontaneous enthusiasm for the Kansas City region.
