Later with Bob Costas The eighth annual fundraiser benefiting the
Steve Palermo Chapter of the National Paralysis Foundation will be held
at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown in Kansas City. The evening features
a recreation of the popular Later With Bob Costas television
show, hosted by Bob Costas with Jim Thome, Cleveland Indians first
baseman and Steve Palermo. The Foundation is very fortunate to have
a friend like Bob Costas, says Palermo. Cocktails will start the
evening at 6 p.m. with dinner following at 7:30. Tickets are $150 each.

Coming in February
Ingrams 2002 Corporate Bowl Start signing up your team now
for a corporate challenge of the mind. Local companies will engage in
a battle of wits benefiting the City Union Mission and Cross-Lines. Spouses
and other ringers are welcome, though half the players must come from
the participating organization. The event will take place at the new Kansas
City Club located at 918 Baltimore. The Missouri Championship will be
Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. The Kansas Championship will be March 13 at 7 p.m. Qualified
teams from each state may compete in the Grand Championships on April
17 at 7 p.m. Missouri teams will play for the City Union Mission while
Kansas teams will play for Cross-Lines. Space is limited. For more information
