The shareholders of the law firm Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen, PC, founded MoKan Title Services in 1999, and partner Steven Leigh serves as managing member. A traditional title company, MoKan provides basic and special title insurance coverage and services for residential and commercial lenders on new loans, refinancing of existing loans and foreclosure actions in all counties in Missouri and Kansas. “With the growth of the real estate industry, the closing side of our title company has grown as well,” comments Lisa Threatt, COO. “We have upgraded our computer software to the latest in the industry.” Since 2003, the company has open-ed offices in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, Liberty and St. Louis.
