Cass County also lists one Catholic school connected to the Kansas City-St. Joseph Diocese, St. Sabina’s. The area is also within minutes of other private schools.

Cass County is also home to Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary, located in KC near Belton. Nearby is Avila University, a top-ranked four-year Catholic College. Both are recognized for their liberal arts and diverse programs.

With its connections to KC, even the far reaches of Cass County are also only minutes from most colleges or universities in the area including nearby University of Missouri at Kansas City, Kansas City Community College campuses and a number of programs in nearby Johnson County, Kansas.

Cass County can also claim an operational, one-room school, the Rock Ford School. Originally located five miles west of Harrisonville, Rock Ford was relocated to the grounds of McEowen Elementary in Harrisonville.
